I Love Food *Foodie Alert*

I Recently tried a Dark cherry balsamic bbq glaze a product by Good Housekeeping. It’s labeled as ” Good Housekeeping Good Food” I guess it’s something you can find in any type of grocery store. No need to run off to some speciality shop to find this one. I had no idea that Good Housekeeping was no longer just a magazine. If you’ve ever been to market you’ve seen that “Good Housekeeping” magazine somewhere between the snacks and packs of batteries. Being that I am an intense “foodie”, seeing it in my local grocers, made me gitty.

This product by good housekeeping is marketed as a glaze used for grilling, but i decided to use it as a marinade for my meat. You can use whatever type of meat you like, I would imagine. I used Porkchops.The Dark cherry in the glaze added such a light sweet flavor that complimented the nauturally salty pork perfectly. I seared and smothered them and made sure to cook them low and slow. That way I was able to make a nice gravy and retain the moisture of the meat. If you’re looking for something interesting to add to your nightly mondane dry meats try this out. Be creative, be adventurous and give Good Housekeeping’s Dark Cherry balsamic bbq glaze a shot. I need to get back to the store to find out what other products they have. I’m a foodie everybody knows it I CANT HELP IT…
